Your mission as a team is to blackout the given card.

Every member is allowed to fill up to 12 single prompts (one complete work per prompt!).

You can fill only one prompt every week. The week ends Sunday, midnight UTC.

It might happen that you have grabbed a prompt someone else is already working on. But even if only the first posted work will count for the team card, also additional works will bring you some points.

Feel free to use this team thread for chatting and coordinating the fills. I will try to update the cards regularly, but you can also check the Empire Workplace for new works.

When posting your work, please write "TEAM" in the subject line and tag the work with your team tag. Use warnings, headers, cuts, and other tags wisely.

Does anyone know what Consequent means? I don't know what to do with it. Would an icon with several caps of a scene fulfil this prompt?

I guess 'consequent' is more common in British English = Happening as a result of a particular event or situation or Following as a result, inference, or natural effect.

By "this week", do you mean today? Because this and capsquared's are our last two prompts.

How are the team works counted in the individual tally? Does it matter if it was the first or the second?

I just offered to do an icon for a prompt that fickle_obsessed has already claimed, but of course I don't want to take anyone's points away.

First posts always count for the team card. If a prompt is used multiple times, it will count as an additional post. You can get 1 point for creating 1-3 additional works, if you continue creating you can earn 2 more points for 4-6 additional works in total. (e.g. if you have finished 5 additional works you will earn 1+2 extra points in total.) Additional points will get counted at the end of the challenge.

1) Okay, so I understand it like this: the first fill for a team prompt will not give me personally any points, but counts towards the team points. The second (and later) posts will only count towards my personal points, not the team? Sorry if I'm being slow to understand how it works.

2) How is it determined which team fills their card first? Is it actual timing of the post? Or will all teams who finish this week count as finishing the card first?

Basically, from what I can tell, we are slightly ahead but if team omega makes their three last fills before we make our last one, we lose this card. I am not making that last fill now because someone else has claimed it.

3) You said the next team card will be given to us in week 7. So - assuming we finish the card this week - everyone can continue making things for the card until week 7, but still only one work a week per person. Right?

The first team finishing a card will get 50 points in total, spread among the active team members. 50 points = 25 prompts = 2 points for every filled prompt. e.g. If you have filled 4 prompts, you will get 4x2 points.

The second team finishing a card will get 25 points in total, spread among the active team members. 25 points = 25 prompts = 1 prompt for every filled prompt.

The day of completing the card will count. If both teams complete their card on the same day, both teams will get 50 points.

Yes, when completing your card this week, you can still post one work each for re-used prompts for weeks 5 and 6 and make additional points.

No, you can post additional works at any time.

I think I get it now: team works give me a different number of points depending on whether our team finishes first or second. But only first fills count in this.

Second fills count towards "additional fills" and give me 1+2 points regardless of who finished the card first.

Did I get it right?
