If you have already signed up, ensure you have posting access to fandom_empire_workplace because the community is members-only and you must post your finished works there to get them counted.

You are also welcome to participate as a joker (joining a team is not needed). Just grab a prompt and post the fill to the workplace. Make a note of which team you want to support with your work. You can switch teams anytime. You won't earn individual points for a joker-work.

Team Challenge Rules
- Post at least one work for the regular challenge.
- Maximum two works every week.
- Minimum for every work
a. 2 icons (DW standard 100x100)
b. 1 haiku (or similar)
c. 1 drabble (100 words)
- Every prompt can be used multiple times.

The fortune wheel is rolled at the end of the week to find the lucky color of the week.

Team Points
One team point for every posted piece of work.
Every completed color row brings two points.
Completing the table brings points. Ten team points for the team finishing the table first, and five points for the second-finisher team.

Individual Points
If you have used a prompt that matches the weekly lucky color, you will earn two individual points.
After finishing a color row as a team, everyone who submitted one or more works here will receive one individual point for each work.
After completing the table as a team, each work will be rewarded with one individual point.

Extra prompts
You can skip the extra prompts!
Every extra prompt is connected with the given regular prompt - you can't use it separately.
Grey squares come with writing-related extra prompts, while white squares are graphic-related.
Follow the specifications if you want to use the extra prompts. The extra prompts are always binding! If a prompt says, '150 words,' you must create a 150-word fic!


Every participant can fill up to two regular prompts every week. You are not allowed to combine both in one work.
Every square can be filled multiple times by different participants.
Every participant can fill every square only once.

All prompts are filled at least once. For the last week, go wild and use whichever two prompts you want, as long as you haven't filled it before.

( Team Card 2 )

We will have an additional challenge again for everyone who wants to earn some extra points. There will be one card for everyone to play. All of you will work together to finish the card.

As always, participation in the additional challenge is optional. No pressure.

Important: To get your weekly additional points counted, you need to create at least one work for the regular Mahjong Challenge in the corresponding week!


The Rules
One card will run for six weeks; in week seven, there will be a second card.

The card comes with 49 squares, offering 49 regular prompts and 49 extra prompts connected with them.

You can choose up to two regular prompts to create something for it every week. Feel free to ignore the extra prompt that comes with it, but you will earn double points when you follow it.

Regular prompts
All work types are allowed.
Minimum graphics: 1 icon
Minimum writing: 1 haiku / 1 drabble
No maximum.

Extra prompts
Every extra prompt is connected with the given regular prompt - you can't use it separately.
The fill of the regular prompt comes with some requirements.
Blue squares offer writing-related extra prompts, while green squares are graphic-related.
Follow the specifications; they are binding! (e.g. 150 words = write a 150-word ficlet for the regular prompt / two colors - create a graphic by using two colors only for the regular prompt)


Every participant can fill up to two different squares (regular prompts) every week. You are not allowed to combine both in one work.
Every square can be filled multiple times by different participants.
Every participant can fill every square only once.


Points
Every regular fill will bring you 1 point.
Every regular+additional fill will bring you 2 points.
When the card is completed within six weeks, every participant will receive extra points.


Posting
Post your work(s) at fandom_empire_workplace.
Use a cut for works bigger than two icons / one haiku and for links going to other places.
Make a note in the subject line = week x - additional and a note in the header = regular or regular+extra.
Tag the work with 'additional challenge' (and any other appropriate tag).

The additional card is open for everyone to play. Try to complete the card together to earn even more points.

Short reminder of the rules
Remember to post at least one work for your weekly regular Monopoly prompt when you want to participate in the additional challenge. Otherwise, your additional points won't get counted!

Instead of a team challenge, we will have an additional challenge this time for everyone who wants to do more than two works only in one week. Of course, this means that you can earn some extra points ;)

There will be only one card for everyone to play. All of you will work together to finish the card.

As always, participation is optional. You can participate for one week, thirteen weeks, or anything in between. No pressure.

The Rules
The card runs until all squares are finished.
If the card is finished within 9 weeks (or earlier), there will be a new card.

The card comes with 36 squares and three groups of prompts.
grey = given prompts (interpretation is up to you)
white = fix prompts (create something for the given work type)
blue = general prompt (choose a prompt you want - e.g. your general prompt is: color = you choose the color green and base your work on it. If your general prompt is: movie create something for a movie of your choice)

Unless the prompt says something different:
All work types are allowed.
AI Work and simple picspams (no edit necessary) come with a minimum of three pics per fill.
Minimum graphics: 1 icon
Minimum writing: 1 haiku / 1 drabble
No maximum.

Every square can be filled multiple times (by different participants).

Every participant can fill up to two different squares every week.

Points
Your prompt's first use will bring two points.
Your prompt's second use will bring one point.
Eight squares filled => three extra points

When the card is completed, there will be some more extra points in total, divided proportionally based on participation.

Important: To get your weekly additional points counted, you need to create at least one work for the regular Monopoly Challenge in the corresponding week! (e.g. you want to participate in the additional challenge for week 3 = post a work for your regular Monopoly prompt of week 3; then create a work for the additional challenge)

Here is your first card. You can start filling squares in week one to earn individual and team points. But please remember that all your individual points are put on hold until you have participated for at least three weeks in the regular Powerball challenge until November 18!

You can post two works a week.
Every prompt (except the Powerball prompts) can be used up to three times.
Every work brings individual points and team points.

Powerball prompts can be filled when you have finished the line (optional) - by yourself (but remember that you can do only two prompts a week) or by any team member. Powerball prompts will double The team points for the line.

Every filled prompt is worth one point (team and individual) for everyone from now on.
Filled power balls double the earned team points for a line.
The first team finishing all squares on the card will earn ten extra points. The second team finishing the card will earn six extra points.

The participation in the team challenge is optional; if you don't want to participate, you can tell me, when signing up for Powerball, and you won't get assigned to a team. But keep in mind that in this case, you will miss the chance to earn more points.

Rules
There will be two cards for every team, each of them running for six weeks.


Every team will get a 5x5 square card with an extra vertical line for the powerballs.

As a team, you will try to fill all 25 squares from your card. You can fill the prompts in any order.

Optional
You don't need to fill the powerball prompts to complete the card.
When you have completed the first horizontal line, one member of the team can fill the powerball 'red' to double the team points earned for this line.
There won't be individual points for filling powerball prompts.

The same will apply to completing the second and fourth horizontal lines.

Allowed Work Types
Fics/Meta: minimum 100 words
Poems: minimum 1 Haiku or similar
Icons: 100x100 px (DW standard)
Other Graphics (banner, wallpaper, or similar): minimum 450 px width x height (e.g. 150 px x 300 px sig tag, or a 100 px x 350 px banner)
There is no maximum.

You may create fandom works, original works, and real-person works.

Every team member can fill up to two prompts every week.

Every prompt can be filled up to three times; every fill will count. Powerball prompts can only be filled once.

Points
Every filled prompt is worth 2 points (team and individual) for the winning team and 1 point for the second winner. If, after six weeks, no team has finished the card, the team with the most finished squares (not posted works) is the winner.

Changed on Sunday, September 3, after the first week. I have realized that after allowing 2 prompts per participant and 3 uses of every prompt in this round, it doesn't make much sense anymore to cling to the old points rules.

So I have decided to make some changes.

Every filled prompt is worth one point (team and individual) from now on.
Filled power balls double the earned team points for a line.
The first team finishing all squares on the card will earn 10 extra team points. The second team finishing the card will earn 6 extra points.

All points will get counted after six weeks (card one) and at the end of the Powerball Challenge (card two). While both cards will count for themself, the final winner is the team who earned the most points with card one plus card two.

Posting
For the team challenge, you are allowed to make two single posts every week. But if you prefer to put both works in one post, that's fine, too.

Please make a note in the subject line = WEEK x - TEAM and tag the work with your team tag.

Important You can start filling squares in week one. You will earn individual and team points. But please remember that all your individual points are put on hold until you have participated for at least three weeks in the regular Powerball challenge until November 18!

Your mission as a team is to blackout the given card.

Every member is allowed to fill up to 12 single prompts (one complete work per prompt!).

You can fill only one prompt every week. The week ends Sunday, midnight UTC.

It might happen that you have grabbed a prompt someone else is already working on. But even if only the first posted work will count for the team card, also additional works will bring you some points.

Feel free to use this team thread for chatting and coordinating the fills. I will try to update the cards regularly, but you can also check the Empire Workplace for new works.

When posting your work, please write "TEAM" in the subject line and tag the work with your team tag. Use warnings, headers, cuts, and other tags wisely.
