Question:
What happens if you have more than one 'designated fandom' on the list? Are you required to make a work for each designated fandom? And will you lose five points per fandom if you don't?

Answer:
If you find more than just one designated fandom on the active fandoms list, you must create one work minimum for each. If you don't do so, you will lose 2x5 points.

Question:
One of the fandoms I was thinking of as Designated for me is a book series (The Locked Tomb series), and I don't see a separate header for books/novels. Can I name that as Designated or will that count towards an entry for Books (Any) instead? If it's the latter can I list Books (Any) as Designated?

Answer:
Just choose 'books (any)' as your designated fandom. If this prompt appears on the active fandom list (or if you chose it via wildcard) in the challenge, any book fandom is fair game.

:::

Question:
How strict is the definition of a crossover? Do fusions count as a crossover?

Answer:
Fusions will count as a crossover as long as both fandoms are presented to the same extent. Example: You can't put a character from Star Trek in the Harry Potter Universe and only use him/her as a side character who is only mentioned by his name once or twice. Make the Star Trek character one of the main characters in your work, and everything is fine.

:::

Question:
When creating a crossover for two active fandoms, will my work count for both these fandoms?

Answer:
Absolutely - as long as you follow the rule that both fandoms should be used to the same extent.

:::

Question:
Can crossovers combine an active fandom and an inactive (or not in the pool) fandom? If yes, do the inactive fandom(s) count towards the point minimum?

Answer:
You are welcome to combine active fandoms with inactive ones (no red-marked fandoms) from the pool. Fandoms not in the pool can't be used. The rules for the crossover minimum will stay the same: one active fandom + one inactive fandom = double the single minimum. You will get full points for your work.

:::

Question:
What is with the general categories and categories which come with fusions of fandoms (e.g. All Chicago) when creating crossover works?

Answer:
As long as you stay to one prompt, the works minimum will stay to the single work. Example: You can write one fic for the general prompt 'Fairy Tales', using 'Hansel and Gretel' + 'Cinderella', and the minimum will be 100 words. Writing a fic for 'Cinderella' + 'Robbie Williams' will raise the minimum to 200 words because you are using two different prompts (fairy tales - real person) now.

:::

Question:
If I do fanart, does that count as a small/big graphic depending on the art's size?

Answer:
Anything bigger than an uncolored quick sketch will count as a big work when it is done on unlined paper. Online works are fine if you don't use any kind of AI.

:::

Question:
Can I combine a work created for Fandom Rush with other challenges?

Answer:
As long as the work is new, that's totally fine.
