Hi! I think I have a bit of a stupid question. Would it be possible to participate without posting the works to the workplace DW, but just linking to them in our posts?
I like the idea of these challenges a lot, but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable posting my works somewhere that isn't AO3 (plus, I like to use custom work skins at times to enhance a fic's effect, and they won't work elsewhere).

No worries if not, just asking! (And I still need to figure out if I'd actually have the time to participate at all... xD)

Yes, it's okay to post your work at other places (unlocked), but you will have to post a header and a link at the Empire Workplace.

Do I need to keep the copies at AO3 unlocked forever, or only till the end of the Monopoly game, or only till the end of the week they're posted for or the week after, or is it unimportant whether the copies at AO3 are or aren't locked as long as there's a copy at fandom_empire_workplace?

As long as you post a copy of your work at the Workplace, everything is fine. If you post at AO3 (or any other place like your own journal) and only leave a link at the workplace, I would like to ask you to keep the work unlocked until the end of the Monopoly Challenge.

Hi, I've used a wildcard for a square I've done a bingo for, but want to reuse that square - does it revert back to the original prompt or can I keep the wildcard version?

When you use a wildcard, you change the prompt on the card. So, when you re-use the square, you can use the wildcard-prompt.

Now for a content-related question. I will only be making artworks, and I'd like a bit of clarification for banners and wallpapers.

1) What constitutes a banner? Does it have to have any text on it? What would those be used for?

2) What are the size requirements for wallpapers? Are mobile wallpapers acceptable?

1) Interpret the word 'banner' generously. For example, you can make a banner for a story you have written, for your journal or a friends-only banner. Text is possible but not required. You can even make banners for other communities, but please don't post them elsewhere before the weekly score at Empire Fandom is finished.

2) You can make wallpapers of all sizes for computers, but also mobile wallpapers.

It's okay when you either make the posts to both comms at the same time, or you post to Empire Fandom first. It's not okay to re-use a work, you have originally written for another comm.

Oh believe me, everything will be new. I just found another challenge I think I am going to be able to do and the mod said I can combine theirs with other comms as long as it is okay with that comm's mod.

I mistagged my last entry in fandom empire workplace with the wrong fandom. I've been only making Warrior Nun fanworks, so I just automatically tagged that, but the fandom is Legends of Tomorrow, which does not have a tag (probably should go under Arrowverse, but that doesn't exist either). I can't edit tags, so if you could change that, that would be great, thank you. :) And sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm afraid I'll have to withdraw from the challenge. Work and real life in general got pretty intense and I could barely even get to the computer to write lately, so I'd rather not be a hindrance, because the situation is unlikely to change right now. I am so sorry for the trouble, and I hope I'll be able to participate in a challenge again if things calm down a bit.

I just wanted to let you know that I need to drop the rest of the round. Life is not as settled as I had hoped it would be by now. The weekly prompts are just not working well for me. Hi! Sorry, I had a question about a fandom tag.

I went to post a new gifset for TGCF (Tian Guan Ci Fu, or Heaven Official's Blessing) this week and noticed that the fandom tag that had been assigned to my previous TGCF post was an author umbrella tag. (fandom: mòxiāng tóngxiù (author))

Normally this would be fine, but I wanted to let you know that 2/3 of the author's other works have their own fandom tag. (fandom: mo dao zu shi and fandom: scum villain)

Scum Villain is a recent tag (I hadn't noticed the mod decision of TGCF when I asked for it, if it had already been made by that point), but Mo Dao Zu Shi was a preexisting tag before I joined fandom_empire_workplace.

It's not a big deal, I just wanted to confirm the best way to tag these fandoms going forwards. Thank you!
