If you are still hesitating, you might want to consider

- you have six wildcards, which means you can play one of your favorite fandoms at least every second week
- you can opt-out fandoms you just can't stand (in case one of these fandoms shows up on the active list, you can choose a different one from the pool)
- it can be a challenge to create for a new fandom, but it can also be so much fun

I know I have promised once not to make rule changes during a running round again, but yesterday, I received an email that made me think hard about a few points regarding the requirements.

After much too little sleep last night, I finally have made a decision. To make the challenge more fun for everyone, I will fix some requirements (don't worry, the basic requirements won't be affected by it, but it will offer you the chance to earn your points more easily, especially when creating bigger works.

Change one
Requirements for bigger works will be now

fic 300 words and more = 4 points
graphic 5 icons / 1 big graphic* and more = 4 points
poem 8 lines and more = 4 points

Change two
You are no longer restricted to one fandom or one media to complete a work. Feel free to mix up different fandoms, stock photos, or media when reasonable.

The rules on the information post have already been updated. Check them out.

Just for your information: I will change the background colors of the additional table because someone told me that a green/blue background can be challenging to read on some cell phones.

A short update.

I am not feeling well at the moment, so please be patient. I will start working on the scores as soon as possible. I hope to be ready at least tomorrow.

Week nine has started now!

EDIT Week 7 should be finished now. The highscore list will be updated with week 8.

Okay, one last time, because of some comments I got.

When counting the scores yesterday, I noticed that adding all the not-used squares to the next week might not make much sense because already in week three, some people had ten or more squares to fill.

Because we are still at the beginning of the challenge and no one has used this chance so far, I have decided to change this rule.

You can fill up to four squares every week. If you use less than four squares, the remaining fills will get added to the next week. Maximum squares you can have to fill in a week are 10.

Sorry for the confusion. Note to myself Don't change the rules during a running challenge! I will remember this next time, I promise!

What is this community about?
Fandom Empire will present three challenges each year. Every challenge will run for 12 weeks.

Expect a mixture of common challenges like Bingo or Writing Tables, and newly created challenges like Monopoly or Mahjong. Check out the previous challenges if you are curious.

Basic Infos
(while every challenge will come with special rules, here are the basics.)

You need to join/subscribe to Fandom Empire to sign up for the challenges.

The community is open to every fandom, real-person work, and original work.

Allowed are written works (fic, poem, meta) and graphics/art (icon, banner, wallpaper).

All works should be new and not be posted elsewhere before. You can re-post/re-use your works at other places/for other communities at the same time.

You will earn points for participating in a challenge. At the end of every challenge, there will be rewards/banners/badges for all active members.

Some challenges come with an additional (team) challenge to offer the chance for more points. These challenges can be connected to the regular running challenge or can be stand-alone ones. Check the rules! Participation will always be optional.

How do I post?
All works should be posted at fandom_empire_workplace. Use a header and a cut, or a header and a link, if you prefer to post at other places like AO3.

I will send you an invitation to join the community once you have signed up for a challenge, and you will get posting access.

All works will be members-locked.
