Prompt Tables 02.26 - Rules and Points

For this challenge, we have three different prompt tables. Every table comes with 49 prompts. You will grab one of them when signing up.

General rules
Every Sunday, I will roll the die to appoint your weekly main prompt (based on your table) and one extra chance. Extra chances are not on the table, but there is a secret list I keep in the background. You can ignore them, or combine them with your main prompt or your neighbor prompts.

To participate, you must create something in response to the main prompt.

After doing so, you can choose one/two neighbour prompts (all squares around your weekly main prompt) to create one work for each.

The extra chance comes with a request or offers a small benefit. The use is optional. Don't create an extra work for it, but combine it with one of your weekly prompts.

Every prompt can be used only once during the challenge period!

You are not allowed to combine the main prompt with a neighbor prompt.
Both neighbor prompts can be combined into one work.

Fandom works, original works, and real-person works are allowed. Crossover works are fine.

Icons and graphic works should be edited visibly.

You can only play one table at a time. If you want to change your table, you can use some tokens from your Joker card.

Joker Card
At the beginning of the challenge, everyone gets one Joker Card with 15 tokens.
You can use these tokens in different ways:
1. Missed week - use three tokens, and you can catch up with the week later.
2. Change your main prompt - use five tokens, and you can choose a different main prompt.
3. Change the card - use four tokens to choose a different card. Keep in mind, if you want to do more fills for your first card later, you will have to use four tokens again to go back!

Minimum and Points
1. Main Prompt
You get one main prompt every week. To participate, you must create one work for it.

Minimum
200 words
2 connected haiku
1 poem (ten lines)
3 icons
1 animated graphic (150x300 pxl)
1 graphic (300x500 pxl)

You will earn 3 points for filling the prompt.

2. Neighbor Prompts (optional)
You can choose one/two neighbor prompts every week.

Minimum
100 words
1 haiku
1 poem (five lines)
1 icon
1 graphic (150x300 pxl)
If you combine two neighbor prompts in one work, you must double the minimum!

You will earn 1 point for every filled prompt.

3. Extra Chance (optional)
Every week offers an extra chance. Combine the extra chance with one of your weekly prompts. Rewards can be extra points for following a request or small benefits.

Extra Chance: I don't quite understand what it is. Is it a prompt not on the table? Does it have to be combined with the main prompt and neighbour prompts immediately, or (if feeling inspired), can someone create a new piece with the Extra Chance as well as it also contains 1-3 of the weekly prompts you've written for? (aka, writing more if you are inspired to create for something combined as well as the prompts individually)

Also, if I felt like writing something which did combine the main prompt with a neighbour prompt, is that okay as long as I'm only counting it for the main prompt?

The extra chances are not on the table, but there is a secret list I keep in the background. Every week, you will find one extra chance on the playtable. You can ignore it, or combine it with your main prompt or your neighbor prompts.

You can create a maximum of three works every week, based on your main prompt and your neighbor prompts.

Feel free to combine the main work with your neighbor prompt(s), but you will earn three prompts only for this work!

Question, I want to do the team challenge only, but I do not think that is allowed based on the rules. Can we participate only in the Team challenge, and not do the main prompt or the neighbor prompts?

Hey, if I miss a week and want to use Joker tokens to make up for it, what does that include? Is it only the main prompt? Or is it everything from that week, i.e main prompt, neighbour prompts and extra chance? And does it extend to the team challenge as well?

If you use some tokens to catch up with a missed week, everything on the week's playlist is okay to use (main prompt, neighbour prompts and extra chance). But you can't catch up on the team challenge!
