Welcome to our last challenge of the year 2025.

September 7 - December 7: Challenge open
December 8 - December 14: Final scores

At the end of the challenge, there will be banner/badges for everyone and 50 DW points for three randomly chosen regular (2 missed weeks maximum) participants.

First Informations
Everyone participating will get a personalized 5x5 bingo card. The prompts will be chosen randomly from 164 possible prompts - check out the list here.

Row (example: B 1+2+3+4+5)
Column (example: 1 B I N G O)
Diagonal line (example: B 1 / I 2/ N 3 / G 4 / O 5)
Corner (possible in every corner - example: B 1+2+3 / I 1 / N 1)
Corner Squares + Middle (B 1+5 / O 1+5 / N 3)
Middle Cross (I 3 / G 3 / N 2+3+4)
Middle Diagonal Cross (I 2/4 / G 2/4 / N 3)

Specials:
Free Bingo = five squares of your choice
Blackout = all squares from the card (previously completed bingos count)

Sign up for the challenge here until September 10, at midnight in your timezone.

Let's play
After getting your bingo card, you are ready to play.
You may create fandom works, original works, and real-person works.
You may complete one to five single squares every week.
Every square requires one complete work; single chapters are allowed as long as they can be read as stand-alone works.
Don't mix up two or more squares in one work.
Bingos can overlap, but if you re-use a prompt for a second bingo, you will have to create a new work for the square.

Once you have completed at least three bingos on your card, you may ask for a new one (four cards maximum).

Fills Minimum
Every square comes with a minimum of:
100 words
1 haiku
2 icons (100x100)
1 graphic work bigger than an icon
Important: Don't use screenshots or stock photos without any editing.
Animated icons and graphics are allowed.

Points
You will receive 2 points for every filled square, regardless of its length and size.

You will get points for every completed Bingo.
3 points for every free bingo
5 points for every general bingo
10 points for a blackout (previously completed bingos count)

You can earn even more points by following some requirements.
Complete a general/free Bingo (= 5 squares) with
- the same fandom
- five different fandoms
- the same work type (example: icons only)
- five different works (example: one wallpaper, one moodboard, one drabble, one ficlet, one poem)
and you will earn plus 3 points.
If you combine two of the requirements (example: 5 squares with the same fandom plus the same work type) you can earn plus 5 points.

Complete a card (Blackout = 25 squares) with 25 different fandoms and you will earn plus 10 points.

Wildcards
At the beginning of the challenge, you will get five wildcards. You can use them in three different ways:
1. If you have missed a week, you can play a wildcard and you are allowed to complete five extra squares in the following week(s).
2. Swap two prompts from your card (example: prompt N5 goes to I2)
3. Delete a prompt from your card and use one of your choice from the prompt list.

How do I post?
All works should be posted at fandom_empire_workplace. Please notice: If you are not a member of this community yet, I will send you an invitation asap.

Use a header and a cut, or a header and a link, if you prefer to post elsewhere, such as AO3.

You can combine multiple works in a single post. Always make a note of the prompt(s) and/or the used bingo square(s) in the header. Thank you!
